The Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo (IQ-USP) is offering a post-doctoral fellowship in Natural Products Chemistry, funded by FAPESP under Thematic Project 2023/04393-9, supervised by Prof. Massuo Jorge Kato.
The project investigates the role of chemistry in mediating interactions between plants and their herbivores, with emphasis on biotransformations in the digestive system of lepidopterans.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree, with proven experience in natural products chemistry (assessed by academic record and publications)
- Solid experience in interpreting NMR data
- Fluency in English
- Full-time, exclusive dedication to the project, with residence in São Paulo
